THANK YOU to everyone who attended the 2017 event! Your support means we can continue to be a hub for arts & culture in Prince George! Stay tuned for the date of the 2018 auction.

Proceeds from this event help support many of the services the Gallery delivers in Prince George, including Art Heals (Hospital outreach program) and MakerLab Youth Immersion (program for at-risk teens).

Your ticket includes hors d’oevres and a glass of wine or beer. Witness cut-throat bidding wars as local collectors duel for a piece of fine art before the bang of the auctioneer’s gavel announces the winner! There will also be a silent auction featuring the work of local artisans. We offer something for all tastes and budgets!

Tickets are $25 each, or 2 for $40. They are available at the gallery, by phone (250-614-7800) or online:

If you can't attend in person, fill out our Absentee Bid Form online or by phone 250-614-7800.

Gerald Hushlak is a Professor of painting and computer graphics in the Department of Art at the University of Calgary. He has a Post Graduate degree from the Royal College of Art in London and Undergraduate Studies in Fine Art from the University of Alberta, the University of Calgary and the University of California.

Hushlak’s current work focuses on computer-generated artworks that use an algorithm that creates from digital files new works of which there is only ever a single printed version. Hushlak also uses sophisticated computer printing techniques with metal based papers — which add to the rich textures and colour depth.

Hushlak has participated in over 40 solo exhibitions in museums and galleries and his collaborative work with Drs. Jacob and Boyd from the University of Calgary has been presented in more than a dozen public exhibitions across the world. Hushlak’s solo exhibition, Bred, was curated by Two Rivers Gallery in 2010.
