Drawn from the permanent collection, The Flock offers an engaging view of the place birds hold in our lives. In this exhibition our relationships with birds are explored in terms of form, symbol and as vehicle for creative exploration.

"Humans have an ancient and unique relationship with birds." Commented exhibition curator Anna Brkic. "Despite some obvious physiological differences we share many of the same personality and social traits. This exhibition encourages people to focus on the views they have of birds and to consider where those views originated."

This exhibition features work in a variety of media by Ken Ferris, Roy Tomlinson, Betty Kovacic, Damian Stalaston George, Bonnie Jordan, Jean Morrison, Arnold Shives, Paula Scott, Patricia Piddington, Gerald Hushlak, Clemence Wescoupe, Leo Napayuk, Ted Harrison, Clemence Wescoupe and Bertram Charles Binning.
