Steve Mills was born in June of 1952 and first became interested in painting at the tender age of five years. He obtained his art education at the University of British Columbia and the Emily Carr College of Art and Design, with instructors such as Sam Black and Gordon Smith.
He has worked in most mediums, but has been concentrating on printmaking almost exclusively for the past several years.
Steve has had many exhibitions throughout British Columbia and has two exhibitions scheduled in Australia for 1991.
His work is in many private, corporate and permanent collections throughout Canada, the United States and Australia.
Steven teaches art at Correlieu School in Quesnel. He is a hunter, fisherman, and bow hunter. Steve is interested in all imagery related to land, particularly, the Northern landscape.
