September 9 to October 11, 1992
I do not believe that I can classify my art into a particular theme, issue, or philosophy. Perhaps it would serve my work better if I would say what it is not.
My artwork does not concern itself with a conscious pursuit of style, imagery or theme. I would feel comfortable in saying that it is a composite reflection if what I am, how I live and what I experience.
This particular body of work is an assembly of the pieces which I completed after a long absence from art activities. It is a tribute to my recently departed mother, who inspired and encouraged me as a young artist.
Lucille T. Pilutik.
