Two Rivers Gallery is a vital centre for visual art in Prince George and the central interior of British Columbia, Canada. It is run by the nonprofit Prince George Regional Art Gallery Association with a mission to:
Two Rivers Gallery is a lively community of artists and art lovers. We welcome people of all ages to share the experience of art with us!
The arts are much more than just fun "extra" activities on the margins of our lives; participation in the arts opens up our worlds and our minds. Exposure to the fine arts helps teach kids to be more tolerant and open; it encourages people of all ages to express themselves creatively – bolstering individuality, self-confidence, and overall quality of life.
Two Rivers Gallery brings visual art and artists from across Canada to enrich the experience of life in Prince George and region. At the same time we provide a rewarding variety of art classes, workshops, and exhibition opportunities for local people of all ages.
This money will allow us to restore an iconic work of art in the vicinity of the Canada Games Plaza, immediately outside the Gallery. With $10,000 we would work with Ron Sebastian to undertake numerous important repairs of his Millennium Unity Pole, refinishing it, reinvigorating it and restoring it to its original appearance, and significantly increasing its life span.
