Two Rivers Gallery is pleased to share our Homeschooling Program for the 2018/2019 school year.
We have created the homeschooling program to encourage students and parents to slow down and make connections with the art in the Gallery and participate in studio activities that they may not get a chance to do at home. Each program complements the BC Ministry of Education's current Fine Arts Curriculum.
To assist you with your scheduling we are offering a Homeschooling Program from 1pm - 2:30pm on the second Tuesday of each month (please check exact dates below). Sometimes the program will include a tour and short studio activity and some months we will explore a more in depth studio project. We may divide the students within each session into two age groups so that our staff and Docents can better gear the projects to the age of the children.
The cost for each session is $5.50 per child. Members' discount is 10%.
We continue to require homeschooling families to pay in advance for the programs. You need to pay at least one week in advance to hold your spot and you can pay for multiple months at once if you would like.
You can register by phoning 250.614.7800 or drop by the Gallery to pay in person. To register online, click here.
If you are unable to attend the homeschooling program you must phone at least 48 hours in advance to have your money refunded.
