Our Sunday Open Studio sessions are a creative way to spend time making interesting and unique art projects.
Drop in from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sundays!
Admission is $8.00 for individuals and $15.50 for families.

June 2 – Rainbow Drawings
Use oil pastels to try a magical drawing technique filled with colour!
June 9 – Photo Transfers
Be inspired by artists Doyon-Rivest in our current exhibition [Dis]Connect, and then use
magazines and packing tape upstairs to create different photo transfer artworks.

Spend the afternoon printmaking at the gallery this Father’s Day!

Make your own wild and wacky house sculpture.
June 30 – Wet on Wet
Try out this fun watercolour painting technique and see what you create.
July 7 – Texture Rubbing Quilts
Get inspired by Brendan Tang and Diyan Achjadi’s collaborative works in our [Dis]Connect
exhibition. Take rubbings of different textures around the building and put them together to
make a tattoo collage.
July 14 – Downtown Summerfest
Meet us downtown at Summerfest from 11am – 5pm where we’ll be making pulled string
July 21 – Tall Trees
Check out Cat Sivertsen’s exhibition in the Rustad Galleria then create some large tree
drawings of your own.
July 28 – Suncatchers
Add a little sparkle and shine to your window to catch the sun and brighten up your day!
August 4 – Inky Outlines
Experiment with oil pastels and ink this Sunday.
August 11 – Clay Cartouches
Learn to draw some Egyptian hieroglyphics and then carve them into clay to make your own
August 18 – Stitched Paper Squares
This Sunday practice some simple sewing skills and make a quilt with all of your designs.
August 25 – Landscape Paintings
Walk through the Rustad Galleria to see artist Mark Tworow’s BC landscapes, then come
upstairs to paint one yourself.
