Our Sunday Open Studio sessions are a creative way to spend time making interesting and unique art projects.
Drop in from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sundays!
Admission is $8.00 for individuals and $15.50 for families.

November 25 – Winter Light Up (extended hours)
Celebrate the Civic Light Up by making your own winter lantern. Sunday Open Studio will go until 6pm so that you can enjoy all of the festivities!
December 2 – Ephemeral Landscapes Get inspired by all the different landscape works in An Ephemeral Land in the South Canfor Gallery and then paint your own.
December 9 – Watercolour Collage
Try out some different watercolour techniques and then make a collage.
December 16 – Pastel Pictures
Look at Clare Singleton’s loose, colourful paintings and then make your own art inspired by Real Northern Living in the Rustad Galleria.
December 23 – Mason Jar Lid Ornaments
Make some original ornaments using mason jar lids as your starting point.
December 30 – Party Hats!
Be New Year’s eve ready with your own party hat and photo booth props!
January 6 – Creating Blueprints
Last day to see Colin Lyons exhibition in the North Canfor Gallery! After your walk through come upstairs to create your own geometric nets.
January 13 – Shapeshifting
Play with geometric shapes as you create your own tangram art.
January 20 – Altered Books
Check out Unbound in the South Canfor Gallery and then come upstairs and try altering your own book.
January 27 – Sea Creatures
Paint real or imaginary sea creatures with acrylic paint.
February 3 – Emoji Cards
Have fun with us this Sunday making your own emoji cards – perfect for Valentine’s Day!
February 10 – Downtown Winter Carnival
The Downtown Winter Carnival will be in the plaza between 11am and 5pm. Join us upstairs in the atrium to warm up and make some art!
February 17 – Hidden Creatures
Draw your own creatures that expand to reveal hidden features.
February 24 – Animal Adaptations
Collage a mixed media animal – will it survive in the wild or sleep on your bed?
