Get inspired by Record | Revise in the Rustad Galleria and make your own accordion style artist books.

Learn how to draw in one point perspective this Sunday!
March 17 – Shamrock Silkscreen
This Saint Patrick’s Day, come to the gallery to try a simple silkscreen technique.
March 24 – Palette Knife Painting
Use a palette knife to paint different shapes and colours, then turn your abstract markings into something new!
March 31 – Pop Art
Settings, characters, and words help artist Gary Pearson tell us stories through his paintings. Check out his exhibition in the North Canfor Gallery and then come upstairs to draw your own stories in a pop art comic frame.
April 7 – Moulded Metal
Twist, snip, curl and bend as you use pieces of wire to construct your own unique sculpture.
April 14 – Blackout Poetry
April is poetry month! In celebration we’ll be creating our own poems using discarded book pages.
April 21 – Collagraph Easter Eggs
Today we’ll be making our own Easter eggs using a fun, creative printmaking technique!
April 28 – Stamp Making
It is your last chance to view Mo Hamilton’s exhibition in the Rustad Galleria! Afterwards come upstairs and try some printmaking of your own using soft lino and carving tools.
May 5 – Positivity Cards
Help us spread some positivity! Join Shawna Dempsey and Lorri Millan’s Consideration Liberation Army, on view in the North Canfor Gallery. We will be making art cards with positive messages to give to family and friends.
May 12 – Squishy Circuits
Bring mom to the Gallery this Mother’s Day and experiment together with squishy circuit making.
May 19 – Simplify the Scene
Check out Michael Reese’s exhibition in the Rustad Galleria then come upstairs and learn to isolate the shapes within an image to create a painting.
May 26 – Light and Shadows
Be inspired by the light and shadows you see in Jeroen Witvliet’s paintings in the (Dis)Connect exhibition in the Canfor galleries, and practice your own techniques upstairs with charcoal.
